Completing an Application

Step-by-Step Guide for Completing an Application on Skills@UC


Introduction 

Some courses on Skills@UC require an application during the checkout process. Follow these steps to successfully complete and submit your application so you can continue with registration.


Step 1: Start the Application 

  1. During the checkout process, you will see a note that the course requires an application.
  2. Click the “Start” button to open the application form.

Step 2: Complete the Required Fields 

  1. Fill out all fields marked as required (typically marked with an asterisk).
  2. Be thorough and accurate when providing information.


Step 3: Submit or Save 

  1. Submit the Application
    1. If you have completed all required fields, click the “Submit Application” button.
    2. Submitting the application will move you forward automatically in the checkout process.

  1. Save to Finish Later:
    1. If you are unable to complete the application in one sitting, click “Save and Finish Later.
    2. Your progress will be saved, but you must return to complete and submit the application before continuing checkout. When you return, you can find your pending application in your learner portal in “My Applications.”

Step 4: Continue Checkout 

  1. Once the application is submitted, continue to the checkout page by clicking the “Continue Checkout” button.
  2. You will now be able to complete your registration for the course.
