Learning Record

A learning record is your personalized summary of non-credit learning at the University of Cincinnati. It includes a structured list of completed courses, activities, and achievements. Your learning record will be available when at least one course is completed and graded.

Value of a Learning Record

A learning record is a valuable resource that documents your progress, skills, and achievements with Skills@UC courses and programs. The learning record serves several important purposes:

  • Recognizes and validates non-credit learning.
  • Clearly captures your learning experiences in a shareable format.
  • Provides recognition for skills and knowledge gained through non-credit workshops, bootcamps, courses, or self-paced learning.
  • Supports your learning path and highlights accomplishments.
  • Showcases your progress and development over time.
  • Offers documented proof of your non-credit learning, which can be useful for job applications, promotions, or further education.
