University of Cincinnati Account
Some courses will provide a University of Cincinnati account in addition to a Skills@UC account. A UC account grants access to systems and resources necessary for coursework.
Setting Up Your UC Account
If your course requires UC account access and you are new to UC and Skills@UC, you will receive an email from skills@uc.edu within seven days of registering. This email will include login username and setup instructions.
Follow the instructions in the email to activate your UC account.
- Your UC account will remain active for six months after your course ends.
- If you enroll in another course requiring UC access, your account will be reactivated.
- If you already have a UC account, your access will continue according to your primary status with UC.
Understanding your Logins
If you receive a UC account, you will have two separate logins:
Skills@UC Login: Uses your personal email to access the Skills@UC Learner Portal and register for courses and programs.
University of Cincinnati Login: Uses your UC username to access UC systems and applications.
Additional Tools and Platforms
If your course includes UC account access, you will gain access to additional systems and applications essential for coursework. These resources remain available while your UC account is active.
