UC Aspire’s Workplace Education Programs offer a flexible, high-impact way to strengthen your workforce from within. Delivered in collaboration with employers, these programs are tailored to meet your company’s specific needs — whether that’s improving communication, digital literacy, safety awareness, or job-specific skills.

Classes can be scheduled during or outside of work hours, taught on-site or online, and even adapted for English language learners or those with different learning needs. With options for short-term or ongoing instruction, employers benefit from increased productivity, stronger employee engagement, and measurable skill gains.

Real-world impact

UC Aspire began offering Workplace Education Programs in the Spring of 2024, with the creation and delivery of a mathematics promotion course for 15 Nehemiah Manufacturing employees. A second Workplace Education Program, centered around the acquisition of occupationally specific English, served an additional 48 students at SanMar Corp. in West Chester, Ohio. Of the 63 students who participated in the SanMar program, 93% achieved a Measurable Skill Gain (MSG) on a standardized or progress toward milestones assessment.

“[UC Aspire] absolutely met our needs!” said Ed Powell of SanMar. “We have a lot newly arrived to America employees at our distribution center who greatly needed this type of program. They have already demonstrated improvement in their communication, and we have seen an improved morale and confidence level with the attendees of the program.”
